August Bank Holiday...

On August bank holiday weekend I travelled on the early morning Virgin Little Red flight to spend the weekend with my brother, his husband and their newly adopted son Spencer…my 2nd Nephew! To say that I was excited would be an understatement!!! I had already been shopping for a little blue shirt (from the Gap of course) and a book entitled “And Tango Makes Three”, the true story of two gay penguins and their ‘adopted’ child in The Central Park Zoo, NYC.

He is such a wonderful little kid, and we had an awesome weekend together, and he got to meet Sean too which was a happy bonus!

I was actually surprised by how many new experiences I was lucky to have in London during my visit: visited the wonderful market in Barnes Village, shopped at what is possibly the most expensive fruit and veg shop in the world, had a nice lunch with Simon (brother), Alex (his husband) and Spencer, and visited some of their friends and had a private performance from Norma Jean Martine (an up and coming awesome artist).

A great time was had by all, and I cannot wait to visit again before Christmas!!

My first post…

People often say that there is one true love out there for everyone. In my case, that is completely true. On 10th June 2013 I met Sean. After an amazing year of new experiences and even the challenges of day-to-day relationships, we got engaged on 6th July 2014. Now begins the exciting journey towards arranging our wedding, buying a house together and one day adopting children!!
